Temple on Mt. Fuji
From Okinawa to Hokkaido, Japan is a little more than twice the size of California. However, as much as 80% of the country is mountainous or forested and is uninhabitable for the 128 million people who live there! Japan is rife with technological spectacles like metropolitan Tokyo, historical marvels such as the literally-golden Kinkaku-ji temple of Kyoto, and natural wonders like the active volcano Mt. Fuji located right outside of the capitol!
Tokyo Tower
A tower that resembles the Eiffel Tower in France, this structure serves as Tokyo's primary communications tower. It also houses many shops, restaurants, and other attractions.
Kinkaku-Ji
This “Golden Pavilion Temple” is a Buddhist temple covered in real gold! The Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto is a popular site for visiting Japanese natives and tourists alike.
